What Causes Burning Sensation In Groin Along With Mild Pain In Testicles?
I have had odd sensations in my groin area for about 9 months. Mainly a slight burning feeling but nothing painful, just annoying. I have tested negative for all stds but I ve never been tested for herpes. I have never had any lesions or sores. I have started getting rectal pressure and slight dull ache in my testicles. Also my left eye has been red with a dry cornea for the last month but no signs of an infection . Could any of this be herpes or just anxiety?
Herpes infection, despite of the site and the recovery, leaves a slight sensation of pain even after completely healing. I think the same is happening to you. In this cases, we only recommend taking pain killers like paracetamol or ibuprofen. With regard to red and dry cornea, it could be a signs of ocular (eye) herpes, however, should check out with ophthalmologist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
