Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Burning Sensation In Middle Of Back, Stomach Upset And Headache?
I have a burning sensation in the middle of my back. It s worse in the morning, and I usually can t even get out of bed until the afternoon. I also have an upset stomach and have been getting frequent headaches. This has been going on for a week and a half. I have been taking ibuprofen, using Icy Hot and a heating pad, but nothing really helps.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Your symptoms seem to be related to gastroesophageal reflux disease. I suggest using a PPI medication such as Prilosec in the morning before breakfast. I also suggest using antacids such as Maalox three times a day. I recommend using Acetaminophen instead of Ibuprofen for the pain. Ibuprofen triggers the symptoms.
Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Kind regards!
