What Causes Burning Sensation In Neck, Arms And Legs After Having Heart Attack?

I had a heart attack about a month ago which resulted in a stent procedure. Ever since, I have felt worse with continued pain, stomach issue and burning sensations in my neck, arms and legs. My cardiologist doesn t think it s anything related to the heart, but I m second guessing him now. Just afraid something else is going on.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The stomach issues may be related to gastric upset in terms of gastritis or gastric ulcer by consumption of Aspirin and Clopidrogrel, two widely used anti platelet drugs after stent procedure. Provided blood sugar is controlled, burning arms and legs may be related to B12 deficiency or anxiety manifestations.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
