Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 62 year old woman who has PKD. Lately my lower sides of my back have been burning. I feel good other than the burning feeling I have. I am urinating fine. My blood pressure is good. I have no temperature. A few months ago I had an ultrasound from my kidney Dr. & he said the cysts have not enlarged. I was curious as to why I have this burning? Should I be worried? please answer my question. My e-mail is: YYYY@YYYY . Thanks
I think that your concern is related to the cystitis in the kidney. I suggest you to repeat now the ultrasound and to discuss with your doctor for this.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
