My son is 11 years old and has a cough, nasal congestion and a fever of 102. I hear him breathing heavier than normal. His whole body is hot to his ankles except his feet. i tried taking a temperature with a temperal thermometer and his feet read 81 degrees. they feel so cold, but everything else feels hot. we have a humidifer going in his room and i gave him childrens vicks cough syrup and rubbed his chest in with vicks vapor rub. he only ate one slice of bacon and had maybe two cups of gatorade today. he threw up late friday night and once during the day today mostly mucus he was gagging on. wondering is this is just the flu or is it something welse since his whole body is burning up except the feet.
