What Causes Burning Sensation In The Chest After Exposure To Bleach Fumes?
Had some soap scum on my shower's floor. Used harpic germ cleaner and bleach to clean. The fumes were horific I was exposed to it imediatly ran the shower water to try and get rid of it but fumes still there. Opened all the wo dows and doors. I feel like I have a tight chest and breathibg shalow. Coughed quite a bit.. Chest burning a little bit. Am outside now in fresh air to see if it gets better. Can I drink anything to help?
Hi i do care for your concern. The fumes will cause irritation to the lining of the respiratory tract. This will cause cough irritation and mucous secretion. It is advisable not to take any medication and avoid exposure and have fresh air for breathing. The condition will resolve on its own, however if pain is severe then pain killers will help a little bit. Hope the condition resolves soon. Hope i have answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask. Thank you.
