What Causes Burning Sensation In The Chest While Suffering From H.pylori Infection?
I have been diagnosed with h.pylori exactly 6 days ago, It has my anxiety through the roof and I just can t get my mind off of it. Its giving me burning chest neck and scalp. It s affecting my everyday life such as work and personal. I am having a hard time getting/staying asleep. I did take some Benadryl to help me sleep about 5hours ago but no luck. How can I get myself better?
I read your message carefully and understood your concern.
Burning sensation in your case is quite a normal symptom. H. pylori infection causes reflux episodes that irritate the esophagus due to the acidic content of the stomach mass that goes up to your throat.
You can reduce you reflux episodes by using omeprazole or other similar drugs that reduce the stomach acid. Quit alcohol, smoking, spicy foods, acidic foods, soda and maintain good personal hygiene.
Baking soda, licorice, aloe vera juice and slippery elm are some of the home remedies which can be used to reduce the stomach acid.
Try to rest and sleep good. Avoid stress and eat regularly without skipping meals.
Hope this was helpful for you.
