What Causes Burning Sensation In The Eyes While On Meloxicam?

i took melexicam 15 mg for 8 days and then i noticed my eyes burning and watering the next day my eyelids were swollen and my feet and ankles were swollen i stopped taking the medication but my feet and ankles are still swollen but not as much should these symtoms go away soon?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Those symptoms could be most likely due to an allergic reaction to Meloxicam. They should subside gradually, I wouldn't worry. In the case the swelling persists for over a week then you should see your physician to have some blood tests for kidney or rheumatologic conditions which could also cause such swelling.
