I take lisinopril and amlodopine for high blood pressure. Been taking since 2009. We I first started taking them I had a burning sensation in my legs and feet. No pain, no tingling. over the years it has gradually got worse. Now it is in legs, feet, hands arms. sensation in mouth. Sensation in tongue feels like I have been burned by a hot liquid. Burning sensation in lips and around teeth sometimes across my face on my cheeks. This is a all the time feeling sometimes the sensations are stronger than others. General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The burning sensation is not related to your anti-hypertensives and may be due to some neuropathic causes. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
