What Causes Burning Sensation In The Lower Leg With Difficulty In Stretching?
Hello , last night I woke up to get some water pretty late , didn t realize my leg was asleep until I stood up , my left knee buckled and I got a really sharp burning pain going down my leg a little ways . I woke up today, I m able to walk around but I can t stretch it out all the way straight or put to much weight on it
The symptoms seem to be related to a a muscle tightness. Tight muscles may result from overuse or cramps, but several treatments and stretches can help. I suggest using muscle relaxant such as Baclofen three times a day. I also suggest using magnesium supplement for muscle relaxation.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
