What Causes Burning Sensation In The Muscles?

Hi Whenever I eat low carb to diet my muscles in my body begin to burn and feel weak. I can t loose weight. I may drop 2 to 3 pounds in the first few days then the weight loss stops for a day or two then it pops back up to where is started and i am eating exactly the same the entire time. I have low carbed many times over the years with great success. A few years ago i did 2- 6 week rounds of homeopathic hcg lost very well then finished up by low carbing the last 20 pounds off. Kept it off for 2 years then my muscles began to feel weak and burned and weight started to come back on and no matter how I tried I couldn t stop it. Now I am heavy again and when I try to loose by low carbing the muscles become weak and burn within the first week and my body won t loose. My thyroid is good and I am in good health otherwise. I have tried magnesium supplements which helped in the beginning but made me sick after a few weeks. I appreciate any advice. Thank you

hello,
welcome to healthcaremagic

Your approach to weight loss is a short term one. just not eating enough carbs can only lead to an apparant and temporary weight loss. you will regain all your weight back in no time.
secondly, carbohydrates are the most important source of energy in our body.
if you skip carbs, body breaks down fats and then proteins. but in thin built people with minimal fat. body breaks down proteins and that is when you feel weak in your muscles.

what i would advice is to avoid short cuts. do what is necessary for a weight loss. these are-
1.exercise regulary.
2. NEVER skip a meal.
3. eat healthy. your meal constitution should be 65%carb,15%protein and 20% fat.
4.follow this rule, have breakfast like a king, lunch like a middle class and dinner like a poor.
5.include fruits and vegetables in your diet as much as possible.
i hope i could help
if you have any query please feel free to revert back to me.

thank you
