I started taking kalms 3 days ago and my stomach is uncomfortable when I take it and I get hurt burn. The doctor actually prescribed deanxit mornings and lunchtime for anxiety but I m afraid to start them. I suffered great anxiety until my son (17) was finally diagnosed with an extreme case of bdd . He is now well and should stop medication in January. We went through so much that I can t seem to switch off and stop worrying now that he s well.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be gastritis.

As first-line management, you can take antacids like pantoprazole or omeprazole for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
