What Causes Burning Sensation In The Throat After Consuming Lemon Juice?
Hi, my friend drank 2 ounces of pure lemon juice. She s been feeling a burning sensation in her throat, stomach, heart and chest. She s been eating rice, celery, yogurt, and drinking water to try to offset the acidity. She says her throat is worsening, but she s feeling very slightly better in general. What else can we do to help?

Anything that has acid profiles can iritate the stomach or we called it gaster.
As long as your friend didn't consume anything acid, he would be fine.
But if he can take some gastro-protector medication such as antacids,ranitidine,omeprazole/lansoprazole or PPI agents.
