What Causes Burning Sensation In The Throat?

Been having issues with my throat during the evening for past couple of weeks. Buring sensation, feels like fluids. This is the case when I am stretched out in bed. Now that I am upright, does not feel like fluid, but still feels like a burning/iritated sensation.
