Hello,

Burning sensation may be due to:
1. Improper stimulation before penetration
2. Vaginal dryness/vaginismus
3. STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease)
4. PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease)
5. Ovarian or adnexa masses
6. Hormonal imbalance
7. Urinary infection/Cystitis et cetera

Use lubricant jelly, avoid cosmetic that may cause allergy, better to use barrier methods of contraception is useful.

If symptoms not improved, please consult your gynecologist, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
