Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a burning in my vagina (outside, and inside for about an inch). There is no itching, no abnormal discharge, and nothing otherwise out of the ordinary anywhere on my body. My boyfriend rubbed me through my underwear but never made direct contact yesterday. It s not a huge pain but it s been present since this morning.
It could be a localized skin reaction that can lead burning sensation. Anti inflammatory drug course can be prescribed for five days. Keep that area clean and wear loose cotton wearing.
Avoid tight underwear. If no improvement than consult gynaecologist for detailed evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
