What Causes Burning Sensation In The Waist And Thighs?

A few days ago my waist, thighs and hamstrings started to have a slight burning sensation and is sensitive to the touch. There are no physical signs such as a rash, but can be slightly uncomfortable. Today I just a feel a little under the weather so could all be related to some sort of flu symptom

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Burning sensation in the thighs and waist may be due to some skin infection particularly in the perineal region near the waist.

And mostly it's weather-related, as wet weather precipitate symptoms. So better to try cotton underwear and trousers, which absorbs perspiration.

Also, you can apply simply any lotion for the relief of itching and redness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nirav Nimavat, General & Family Physician
