Hello,

Since you are having burning urethra since a long time it may take time to get cured. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get CBC, urinalysis (C/S, R/E) done, get treated at the earliest.

In the meantime, avoid sex for a couple of days. Avoid multiple partners. Take plenty of water and syp Alkacitron (4 tsp with half cup water) twice daily. Take vitaminn E(Evion - 400) to prevent dryness.

You may need antibiotics after obtaining the reports of the tests. To be on the safer side, get STD tests done. If the tests come positive, you may need antivirals as well. Always perform safe sex.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
