What Causes Burning Sensation Of Feet In A Diabetic Person?

10yrs. Ago my doctor told me I was a diabetic. I had a 175 sugar count at a physical. Since then I went cold turkey on most sweets. Had my sugar checked frequently, for a yr. or 2. Blood sugar has been good. I experience burning feet, I contribute that to being a Welder having spent many yrs. sitting on my feet, scooting around on hot metal in Tanks, and high pressure vessels that we pre-heated the metal to 225-350 degrees. I am concerned, Are my feet hurting from Sugar Diabetes or from my Welding !

Hi,

Burning sensation is one of the symptoms of high blood sugar. Do regular workout and control your blood sugar. Avoid added sugar. Have your dinner before 7 pm. The only way to reduce this burning sensation is to control diabetes.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
