What Causes Burning Sensation On Ankles Post Injury?
I broke my ankle 8 weeks ago, stopped taking my vitamin B and vitamin D for 2 weeks or so while I was taking Vicodin. After these 2 weeks, my tongue began to tingle and almost burn at times, and this has been ongoing for 6 weeks now. Any idea how to get rid of this burning tongue feeling? I started taking the vitamin B and D 4 weeks ago, haven t taken vicodin in 4 weeks. I m 5 7 , 150 pounds, excellent health history.
Vicodin does not interact with vitamins. the location and movement of a pain gives clues as to what is going on. Burning is a local phenomena. It can be irritated by chemicals such as those in medications and this generally gets better quickly. The appearance of the tongue would be an issue with a burning sensation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
