On the 8th of April I had an allergic reaction to a new makeup product. I discounted using the product but the rash on my face got worse. I broke out in hives and my face was visibly burnt from the product. After three weeks on antihistamines –without improvement– I was then put on Pednisolone to calm my immune system. Thankfully that worked, however, my face burns every time I try to put any makeup on. I m so concerned and overwhelmed that I can t wear makeup. I went back to my G.P and she said don t put anything on my face and refused to give me a referral to a specialist. I m now doing test patches and painstakingly trying to cross reference and work out what ingredient in the original makeup caused this reaction. I ve started a gluten free diet and caffeine seems to aggravate it. I m keeping a diary of everything I consume and use on my skin. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Belinda
