What Causes Burning Sensation On One Side Of The Nose Upon Yawning?
When I yawn my nose burns only on one side. It s always the same nostril and it s a firey pain that stinks like a burn. Wondering if this is common or is a symptom of something greater? I am a 20 year old man, 5 11 weighing at 155 pounds, physically fit (hits the gym almost every day) and hardly ever gets sick. Allergies include polline. I do not take medication or any form of pills. I have never smoked, no drinking and no drugs. Top condition physically and no mental stress currently.
- It can be DNS or rhinitis. - Get examined by ENT specialist. - Start applying nasibion nasal drop. - More so it can be DNS, take tablet livocetrizine. - Yawning generally links to epiphora. - Go for allergy test.
As you have mentioned allergy to pollen, then it can be same and manifest in nose as rhinitis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
