What Causes Burning Sensation On Right Side Of The Breast After A Surgery?
Hi I had a breast reduction (anchor) two weeks ago....every thing is going fine until yesterday. All my stiches are healed. I went to reach up higher than I should have and felt a burning sensation un the right side of my breast. I started taking advil again to try to reduce the pain. Today the swelling has increased. Under my arm pit, around the back, rib cage all hurt and are swollen....I know I hurt it but is it serious if there is no color change or oozing happening?
There is nothing to worry, if swelling increases and pain persist it may be the infection to the scar wound you did during your extra pressure on surgical line. The reason is simple the wound has not healed properly. It takes time up to four to six weeks. Make sure don't stretch further two three weeks. You can either take Augmentin 625 twice daily for five days or visit your surgeon for further evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muzaffer Hussain Parray,
