What Causes Burning Sensation On The Head?

I sometimes have heat coming off my head; once I cool it down with water its fine. It happened yesterday and I dripped cool water from an ice block in my skull over various parts that were hot including the neck and it eventually went away. My hair is thick. I got up this morning with some dried mucus on both eyes. is this a problem?

Hi. What you are describing does not sound like a medical problem. I would urge you to forward any other symptoms or time-frames over which your problems have been occurring. It is difficult to suggest any therapeutic measures to assist you. If you feel that the heat from your head or your mucous eye discharge continues or gets worse, then please consult your own family doctor. I hope this helps.
