What Causes Burning Sensation On The Skin While Doing Chemotherapy?
im doing chemo(zometa} 2 weeks ago at chemo they hooked me up, about 15-20 minutes it started burning under my skin. then told the nurse, said it wasnt in vein, so switched arms. now arm they missed on has been burning bad.is there anything i cAN DO TO HELP EASE THE PAIN?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, burning is common side effect of chemotherapy if it is not the counter puncture of vein and it need to be first taken care, else it is nothing to worry because such burning will not long last and if this is so then you have to inform this to oncologist hope this information helps.
