General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, unilateral burning sensation involving segment of nerve supply around breast do indicate possible issue of:
- Prodromal stage of Herpes virus infection manifestation, which pops up without evident blister or other skin changes.

It is the irritation of nerve root ganglia which provokes such changes of burning without obvious external changes.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
