What Causes Burning Sensation While Urinating After Taking Cimex Tablet?

Hi! Good day! I am on my 25th week. Was diagnosed having a UTI and prescribed cimex for 7days. I am on my 6th day now of taking it but there is still a burning sensation whenever i urinate. I can also feel cramps on my lower abdomen and a bloody discharge just this morning. Had my urinalysis taken yesterday. Result is RBC 0-2, PUS CELLS 1-3, COARSE GRANULAR CAST 1-2. Worried about the indication of granular cast since i have a kidney stone before and i am hypertensive. Currently taking 4x a day aldomet to regulate my BP. Could this indicate something i have to worry about? Thanks!

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have urinary tract infection and you are taking cefuroxime. You should complete the course of your antibiotic. Your urine test result is normal. But you have granular case so you should check your creatinine level once to rule out any kidney function abnormality. Go for ultrasound once to check for your kidney stone. Don't worry much about granular cast. It can be seen in many normal conditions also. So go for creatinine and ultrasound abdomen and take treatment accordingly.
