What Causes Burning Urination After Recovering From Chikungunya?

Hi I was suffering from chicken guniya from last 3 months, still effect is there. I was on steroids n one course completed. I have not gone to doctor for follow up. Noe from last three days I have burning sensestion in urine n pain while passing urine. Can I start again CITAL syrup without consulting physician.

Hi,

Burning sensation with urine may indicate urinary tract infection. While the alkylation agent cital can give some comfort against the burning sensation but it does not treat the infection. So the proper course would be that you check your urine for infection and use proper antibiotics if infection is there.
