What Causes Burning Urination Along With Fever And Urge Incontinence?
Husband had shoulder surgery last Monday . Came home from hospital with a catheter. Catheter was removed Friday . This morning he complained of burning while urinating . He has had the shivers all day and now has a fever of 101.5. He says he has not had a good pee since this morning. Just dribbles, however he has the urge to go.

According to history urgency for urination, burning micturition, fever present
This suggest my friend towards urinary tract infection....
You should get investigated with first urine microscopic examination....
If urine shows pus cells more then 5 to 10/hpf then
Empirical antibiotic started and urine sent for culture....
Drink more fluid
Fruits juices more
Avoid excess spicy foods
Cranberry extract sachet or tablet available that can be consumed
