Tinnitus is the abnormal ringing sound in the ear. The sound may be buzzing, ringing, roaring, hissing or whistling. The sound occurs at any time depends upon the cause. Most of the ear disorders has tinnitus as its symptoms. It may be subjective and objective. Objective tinnitus due to any disorders in blood vessels or due to tumors.
Since you have hearing loss, it should be evaluated. Hearing loss may be associated with tinnitus. It should be evaluated that one or both the ear having tinnitus. Ear blockage, defects in tympanic membrane, middle ear infections, eustachian tube blockage, some vascular and nerve tumors should be ruled out before neglecting the condition. Visit the ENT specialist for detailed evaluation and management.
