What Causes Calcium Deposit In The Rotator Cuff?

I have a large calcium deposit in my rotator cuff in my right shoulder. Yesterday I had symptoms of a frozen shoulder. I had a cortisone shot. Today I m still in pain but not quite as bad. How long will it take until I have a little mobility in my shoulder again?

Cosmetic & Plastic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It can take up to 3 days for you to regain your motion. The Cortisol will help in reducing inflammation and also help you in regaining motion. If the problem is prolonging, you can go for a surgery. An orthopedic surgeon will help in excision of the calcification through an arthroscopy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
