What Causes Calf Cramping And Soreness In Vein Protruding Below The Knee?
I ve had a cramp in my left calf for 2 days. Last night, I noticed a large vein protruding just below the back of my knee and was sore. This morning, the protrusion was gone but an area the size of 2 half dollars is there. The cramp is back. Fyi: I ve been working vigorously in the yard the past 4 days.

Hello, welcome to HCM. These are the early symptoms of varicose veins. Please take an appointment with the surgeon and show it to him. I think you work standing for long duration which has predisposed to the above symptoms.Various clinical tests has to be done to see whether there is valve incompetency. These valves allow the blood flow in veins forwards. You have to know at present what stage is this condition.Accordingly treatement can be given. Take care.
