What Causes Calf Pain While Suffering From Spinal Stenosis?

I have stenosis in my lowere back I deal with that through stretching but 2 weeks ago I started getting pain in the outside right calf of my leg. It has gotten worse, and is also above my knee on the same leg. I want to make a dr apt on Monday. Should I go to my internist or to an orthopedic dr? Thank you

hello there.
thank you for choosing HCM.
Lower back pain radiating to legs is the most common presentation of Sciatica. In this condition sciatic nerve get compressed which leads to pain .As you mentioned that you have lower back stenosis so I am thinking of nerve compression.
In my opinion you should visit a Orthopaedician for your current situation..
I hope this was helpful.
thank you..
