What Causes Cardiac Problems Like Heart Murmur?
I am a 47 year old female, had a gestational heart murmur during my two pregnancies. I am about 20 pounds over weight and my heart murmur is now detectable every time I have an exam. I often think I can feel it also. Does this increase my chances of cardiac problems?? Any input would be appreciated.

Heart murmur during pregnancy usually is not serious.
My advice to you will be try to loose weight.
Also you can do an echocardiography examination to be on the safe side.
