What Causes Carpel-tunnel Syndrome Along With Restless Leg Syndrome?
I am diagnosed with Carpel-tunnel syndrome (not yet corrected) , Migraines, diabetes (diet controlled now), Major depression (no longer on medication), Restless leg syndrome, and currently I have been experiencing pain in my elbow that is radiating down to my wrist and hand and on occasion up to my shoulder. the muscles feel heavy and weak in that arm. Could all of these separate diagnosis be related neurologically?
Yes, it can be neurological, but etiology may be due to diabetes uncontrolled. You need to first get tested your blood sugars and get on appropriate medicine in order to control these symptoms.
Diabetes can be associated with all of these you mentioned and peripheral neuropathies are also common in this condition.
So, take care of your diet, exercise, the frequency of meals, take 6-8 times small meals per day eat more vegetables less of sugar-based products and avoid oily foods.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
