What Causes Cause Breast Tenderness And Abdominal Pain After Using Famoline Tablets?
Hi..i m 25 years unmarried..my periods was missing for about 2 months..after dr.opinion i started famolin..i have got periods also after month but there zmy breast enlargement nd abdominal pain like symptoms i observed..i want to knw should i continue my tab or quit ?
Famolin contains both ethinyl estradiol and desogestrel that is used in the prevention of unwanted pregnancies from unprotected sexual intercourses. It may cause delayed, earlier or missed periods, spotting or breakthrough bleeding between periods, irregular uterine bleeding, vaginal discharge, vaginal bleeding, abdominal pain, bloating, breast enlargement and tenderness, easily bruising or bleeding etc.
But most of these side effects are mild as well as self limiting and usually go away over time as the body adjusts to this medication. But if these side effects persist for long or bother you then you should consult your doctor first for medical help.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
