What Causes Cellulitis While On Metformin?

My husband has been on Metformin for about 1 year now. This is his second bout of cellulitis. The first bout he ended up in the hospital on IV vancomyicin. He now has it again and they are trying to treat it with antibiotics at home (cephalexin 500MG 4 x day) Could the metformin be the cause of his Cellulitis?

No,,metformin has to do nothing to this repeated attacks of cellulites,,this is due to low immunity of your husband and may be the short or in accurate dose of antibiotic
