What Causes Changes In The Physical Condition Of The Body Post Removal Of Thyroid?

I had partial thyroid removed, dr said i didnt need to take medication to fill in for thyroid removed, so several years later, experiencing huge weight gain, low depression, tendinitis, bad- constant lower back pain, insomia, fatigue, never swallowing all food( feels like stuck) huge arms and belly fat, constipation, some more issues. i want to go ahead and try medicaiton so can eleviate some, if not all problems. none of these existed until thyroid removed. what is safe medicine, no steriods please.

It seems you have low level of thyroid harmones after the partial removal of thyroid.In my opinion you need an evaluation of your T-3,T-4 & TSH levels & take the thyroxine dose accordingly.
