What Causes Chapped Eyelids And Peeling Skin On The Bridge Of Nose?

I have chapped eyelids and peeling of the skin on the upper bridge of my nose. Before, i had a swollen, raw area of skin underneath my eye. I had assumed Blepharitis but i have not worn make-up in over a month and the raw, chapped part is on the crease of my eye and not where the hair follicles are located. What is this and what should i do about it?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your case history of chapped skin, my treatment advice is:
1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with SPF more than 30.
2. Apply an emollient cream like Enmoist cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a vitamin C supplement for 3 months.

If the problem persists, then consult a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
