Hello,
Joint pain is indicative of
Gout because she has a history of uric acid. You are suggested to get her clinically examined by a GP. Get CBC,
urinalysis, blood tests for gout, RA and OA done. Her treatment will depend on the pathology detected. The treating doctor may may want her to get Imaging tests done.
In the meantime she can take NSAIDS,
Combiflam, one SOS when pain. She is suggested to do regular walking and exercises to keep the joints lubricated. Since she is having
chest pain, she can take antacids and PPI's for relief. However, she should get EKG,
Stress tests, Echo and lipid functions tests done to rule out any developing CAD.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
