Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

Reading the report, the first thing that pops to my mind is the possibility of viral infection, especially in view of the fever associated with backache and chest pain, and possibly some gastric discomfort as well. The viral syndrome is very frequently typified by these symptoms instead of the regular symptoms like cold and cough.

The monocytes are usually raised in viral syndrome as are the granulocytes, especially immature forms. The immature forms are possibly due to the rapidly needed immune response to viral syndrome.

I will suggest plenty of fluids (like 3-4 litres of water), some rest, antacids like omeprazole 20 mg once daily, multivitamin (any brand of your choice) and paracetamol 500 mg thice daily (for 3 days and then sos).

Hopefully this will help you recover over approximately 1-2 weeks.
Repeat a CBC at the end of 7 days.

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.

I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.

Please do understand that some details could be extracted from a detailed history and examination.

Please feel free to ask another query. I would be glad to help you. Looking forward to your return query with the details asked so that I can help you further.
(If the answer has helped you, please indicate this)
Best of luck.
