Hello,
You have a history of getting an injury after a fall, now you are experiencing chest pain and difficulty in breathing. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP. Get X-ray chest, CT and MRI done to detect any
bone fracture, trauma, muscle strain, pneumothorax,
costochondritis, internal injury /blunt trauma, etc. You will be treated accordingly, if needed your treating doctor may refer you to an orthopedics. Conservative treatment combined with
physical therapy is helpful if there is no fracture.
You can take Antacids, PPIs to get rid of acid reflux. Take food in time, take food that is rich in fiber, avoid constipation. Take plenty of water. You can take laxatives at bed time. To ease pain, take Combiflam or Naproxen, one SOS when needed. Avoid addictions if any. You can apply
hydrocortisone ointment for
severe itching in the back. Take regular bath, wear cotton clothes. Do not share toiletries.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
