Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr. Kalpesh Kavar, MD.
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
First of all I would like to assure you and advice you not to be panic. As you mentioned your EKG was normal, there is no need to worry, but still to make it very sure you should go for stress test and echo as advised to rule out any cardiac concern.
You have not mentioned your age in given history, but many a times because of essential hypertension, when blood pressure is on higher side, patient feels little discomfort, so once you take medications and your blood pressure will also be lowered and symptoms will be vanished.
Once again I would advice not to be panic and just go for stress and echo to rule out any concern.
I hope this helps you. I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. Please do understand that some details could be extracted from a detailed history and examination.
Please feel free to ask another query. I would be glad to help you. Looking forward to your return query with the details asked so that I can help you further. (If the answer has helped you, please indicate this)
Take Care.
