Welcome to healthcaremagic.com. Sorry to hear about your loss. Unfortunately what you are going through right now can contribute to your symptoms. In recent literature there is what is called broken heart syndrome that affects mainly women during times of stress and they present to the hospitals and ER's with symptoms akin to a heart attack. Since you have had a negative heart attack work up, I would attribute it to takotsubo cardiomyopathy, though classically one does have ECG/EKG changes. I hope this puts your mind at ease, and sorry for your loss again. I hope you get to feeling better, good luck.
