Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Last night I worked out in my garden for an hour even though by 6 it was 90 degrees and had to stop because I experienced chest pain. I had a similiar problem last summer and brought it to my Doctors attention. However this has been going on a couple years and will happen occasionally if it gets really cold but 2-3 times a week in the summer but only for short periods generally 5-8 min. At one point they suspected it was only my asthma but that is no longer an issue for the most part, then they suspected it was my acid reflux but it s over to the left and not after eating, 2 yrs ago I was rushed to ER and kept in cardio overnight for a full work up and nothing showed up so they said it was an anxiety attack, my pulse and my blood pressure are fine. I have some 5mg predizone from when my asthma was bad and that takes off the edge so my doctor says to use it when I need to but I want to know why it s happening
Hi have they done a 2-D echo? If not het one done to rule out mitral valve prolapse. It can lead to chest pain especially when changing position like in gardening--regards
