What Causes Chest Pain Along With Inflammation In Stomach?

I awoke at 4:30 a.m. with chest pain in central to the left of chest, and My blood pressure was high, then got alittle better; I went on to work, chest still hurting, and at noon, saw company nurse who checked my blood pressure 184/110, 83 pulse, oxygen level 95. She waited a short time and checked again and it was still 184/90. I went to Dr. at nurse s advice and Dr. did an EKG but it did not show heart attack or rhythum problems. He said my last endoscopy showed an inflammation in the stomach. I ve not had stomach problems (that I know of), so I m wondering, should I get a second opinion?

Dear, welcome to HCM and thanks for choosing us.

I share your concerns. There are following possibilities I can think of with symptoms you have mentioned and taking the age into consideration
1 heart ailment (possibly transient attacks, can become real heart attack if not investigated and treated), chest tightness suggest this.
2 GERD (acid reflux from stomach to oesophagus),nausea suggest this..
3 lastly anxiety disorders.

I would advise you to go in following ways
Get an Echocardiography done and discuss with your cardiologist. Cardiologist will be able to guide you for GERD too. For GERD you may require an endoscopy of stomach. If both are normal, Lastly you may require a visit to psychologist.
