Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Chest Pain Along With Nausea And Dizziness?
i was in the er last night with chest pains, dizziness, nausea and sweating. SGOT level of 15, SGPT level of 26, troponin I was 0.2 then went down to 0.1 3 hours later. sent home with f/u appt with cardiologist. still feeling the same this morning. what could be wrong?
Your SGPT, SGOT and trop I levels are normal. It doesn't seem like an MI episode but it is still advisable to get an ECG done and review with a cardiologist.
Sometimes an episode of gastritis can also cause all the symptoms you have described.
I would advise you to take an over the counter antacid like tab ranitidine for a few days once the cardiac cause is ruled out. I hope that answers your question.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nazma.amman, General & Family Physician
