What Causes Chest Pain Along With Shortness Of Breath?

i went to the er last night i have been having chest pain, left side by heart, sort of a squeeze. also my body temp feels hot, but not fever, also shortness of breathe. i have anxiety and ashtma as well. they did ekg and chest xray said my heart was find gave me a nebulizer treatment. then when i was being discharged they gave me lowpressor to protect heart and told me to take baby asprin everyday, i said, i thought you just told me my heart was fine....they just said uh huh. so i dont ffeel good about it. i have still had the chest pain all day. i am under stress have taken my anxiety med and done ashtma treatment, still i have the chest pain and feel with no energy..

If you had an heart attack it would show up in an EKG and ultrasound. Maybe you suffered an asthmatic attack. Baby Aspirin can be taken as prevention care for everyone over 45.
