Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Backache can be associated symptom with lung infection or pneumonia. Chest may also occur in lung infection. These symptoms should subside after resolution of your lung infection. sometimes there may be fluid collection around the lung (inside the pleura-layer covering the lungs) which can cause chest pain. You must consult to the treating physician to rule out definite cause of such pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Symptoms with pneumonia (lung infection) can take a while to improve especially the fatigue and the cough. The chest pain and back pain might be due to pneumonia or might be due to muscle strains from cough.
It is best to talk with your doctor on the symptoms you are having and your doctor should examine you and see if there is any difference from the last examination he did. Lung infections can be serious and if you are not improving or are getting any worse you will need to see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards,
Antoneta Zotaj, MD
