What Causes Chest Pain And Dizziness?

a couple of hours ago while shopping I became clamy and then had chest pain and became light headed....these symptoms lasted for a few minutes and then went away....should I contact my Dr? My mother passed away 5 1/2 years ago from an aortic aneurysm.....

Hi,

Yes, you should definitely go to ER. Investigations like echocardiogram and ECG will be required. I cannot tell surely without reports of investigation whether the episode is due to aortic aneurysm or cardiac ischemia or any other cardiac pathology.
